Buscamos una persona con experiencia, habilidades prácticas y una sólida ética de trabajo para ayudar con el mantenimiento y la conservación de edificios comerciales y residenciales.

Los candidatos ideales deberán contar con lo siguiente:

  • Diploma de escuela secundaria (High School) o certificado GED (preferido).
  • Experiencia en trabajos menores de electricidad, plomería y carpintería (requerida).
  • Capacidad para realizar tareas físicas típicas de un sitio de trabajo (por ejemplo: levantar objetos, subir escaleras, gatear, agacharse, ponerse en cuclillas, empujar y jalar).
  • Capacidad para levantar regularmente entre 50 y 100 libras.
  • Familiaridad con herramientas manuales y eléctricas de uso común, así como capacidad para utilizarlas de manera segura y eficaz.
  • Capacidad para seguir las normas y procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa.
  • Licencia de conducir válida de los Estados Unidos, emitida al menos cinco años antes de la fecha de contratación, con un historial de manejo limpio (incluyendo, como mínimo, ningún accidente atribuible al conductor durante los últimos cinco años) y que cumpla de forma continua con los estándares de riesgo vehicular de IEH, según se verifique mediante monitoreo continuo del historial de conducción (MVR).

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills: - An associate degree in biological sciences or related field (required); a BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (preferred but not required) - Proficiency with data entry and computer applications - Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Self-motivated - Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and media preparation. This is a full-time position and will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The schedule for this position is on a rotating shift basis: the first week is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 2:00pm to 2:30am; the second week is Wednesday and Thursday, from 2:00pm to 2:30am. IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Seasonal Laboratory Technician/Courier position at its facility in Richland, WA. The ideal candidate will possess the following: • A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred) • Proficiency with data entry and computer applications • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory • Ability to regularly lift 30lbs above waist level • Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs above waist level • A valid US driver's license issued at least 5 years prior to the date of hire, with a clean driving record (including, at minimum, no at-fault accidents in the last 5 years) that meets/continues to meet IEH's motor vehicle risk standards, as verified through ongoing MVR monitoring Laboratory Technician/Courier duties include: media/sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, safely transporting samples from customers to the lab on a fixed schedule, and other duties as assigned. The pay range for this position is $17.13 - $19.00 hourly. This is a full-time seasonal position ending in October/November and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked) and 401(k). Seasonal employees may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period. The shift for this position is Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00am - 6:30pm.
