IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Laboratory Courier position at its facility in Green Bay, WI.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
• A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
• Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (including, at minimum, no accidents in the last 5 years)
Laboratory Courier duties include: safely transporting samples from customers to the lab on a fixed schedule, cleaning and maintaining coolers for sample transport, washing glassware, media/sample preparation, data entry, inventory control, general laboratory cleaning and other duties as assigned.
This is a part-time position eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually) and 401(k).
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 1:00pm – 4:15pm. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work occasional Saturdays.
