IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Courier – Rotating Shift position at its facility in Modesto, CA.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
• A detail-oriented approach and strong communication in handling all tasks
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in day-to-day interactions
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to regularly lift up to 30lbs above waist level
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs above waist level
• A valid US driver’s license and clean driving record (including, at minimum, no accidents in the last 5 years) that meets/continues to meet motor vehicle risk standards, as verified through ongoing MVR monitoring.

Laboratory Courier duties include: safely transporting samples from customers to the lab on a fixed schedule, cleaning and maintaining coolers for sample transport, data entry, inventory control, and other duties as assigned.

The pay for this position is $20 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).

This position operates in 8-hour rotational shifts Monday through Friday (either from 7:00am-3:30pm or 11:00am-7:30pm). The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work rotating weekends.
