IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting multiple applications for the Laboratory Analyst position at its facility in Guadalupe, CA.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)
• Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $23.00 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.

The shift for this position is Monday through Friday, from 12:00pm – 8:30pm. The laboratory operates 24/7, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.

This position requires regular on-site presence at our lab in Guadalupe, California (remote work is not available). While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates authorized to work in the United States, please note that candidates must either currently reside in the local area or be willing to relocate at their own expense, as relocation assistance is not provided.
