Microbiologique Inc. is now accepting applications for a Media Prep Technician position at its facility in Kent, WA.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
– A High School education or GED (required)
– Basic math skills
– Good attitude and willingness to work with others
– Good communication and organization skills
– Ability to follow written directions
– Ability to regularly lift up to 20lbs above waist level
– Strong understanding of the aseptic technique in the laboratory
Media Prep Technician duties include weighing and mixing powder material, material dispensing and labeling, data entry, inventory control, preparing and wrapping pallets, driving a forklift, general cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $21.00 hourly. This position is available as either full-time or part-time. Full-time employees will be eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
