Corporate Controller (Lake Forest Park, WA)

Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. is hiring a Corporate Controller for its corporate headquarters in Lake Forest Park, WA.

Responsibilities:

– Monitor the financial performance of the company
– Compile and analyze financial reports
– Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
– Communicate financial metrics to senior management

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline (required)
– Certified Public Accountant license (required)
– 5+ years of experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting practices and internal controls
– 5+ years of experience in Financial Statement and reporting preparations
– Strong verbal/written communication skills
– Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented
– Excellent analytical and organizational skills
– Able to work closely with management team

The pay for this position is $90k – $120k, annually. This is a full-time position, eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).
