IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group welcomes Dan Solis as Vice President of Technical Services.
Mr. Solis brings nearly three decades of experience with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), most recently serving as Assistant Commissioner for Import Operations. During his FDA career, he held leadership roles including Acting Director of the Office of Enforcement and Import Operations, Division Director for West Coast Imports, and Director of Import Operations for the Los Angeles District.
Mr. Solis is a nationally recognized subject matter expert in import operations and border security. Throughout his career, he led national initiatives including the FDA Imports Shield Program, Import Certification Portal, and nationwide rollout of the PREDICT system. He also served as a national instructor on import investigations and held advisory roles related to the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP), information technology, and import operations.
Mr. Solis holds an M.S. in Healthcare Administration from the University of La Verne and a B.S. from the University of California, Irvine. His extensive experience in FDA import operations, regulatory compliance, and enforcement further strengthens IEH’s expertise in supporting clients navigating complex regulatory and import requirements.
