IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Chemistry Receiving/Sample Administration position at its facility in Greeley, CO.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

– A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Chemistry or related field (preferred)
– Work experience in Chemistry or related field (preferred)
– Basic math skills
– Good attitude and willingness to work with others
– Good communication and organizational skills
– Ability to follow written directions
– Ability to regularly lift up to 20lbs
– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Laboratory Technician duties include: Manage contact between receiving and chemistry departments, sample preparation, evaluate and sort samples into correct test assignments, organize sample storage, manage paperwork, coordinate with chemistry lead, and other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $18.00 hourly. This is a part-time position eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually) and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met). Part-time employees may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period.

This schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to 6:30pm (with a lunch break).
