IEH Laboratories, a leader in food safety, is now accepting applications for an Entry Level Purchasing Position at its facility in Seattle, WA.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

– An AA or AS degree in supply chain management, biological sciences, or background in a related field (preferred)
– Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
– Professional, reliable, and able to work well with others
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Strong written and verbal communication skills

Purchasing duties include but are not limited to: submitting purchase orders for various locations, sourcing from domestic and international vendors, monitoring purchase orders and communicate status to relevant parties, identifying new vendors, and other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $24.00 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).
