CFPPS, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Processing and Packaging Technologist/Engineer position at its facility in Dublin, CA.

CFPPS focuses on food safety, process engineering, thermobacteriology, aseptic and canning related testing, food spoilage diagnosis, validation of equipment, automated controls, and regulatory consulting, among other services.

The position provides laboratory and field testing services, process calculations, process deviation analysis, and over a period of time, expert assistance to food industry customers, including spoilage diagnosis and regulatory compliance assistance related to FDA and USDA/FSIS regulations. The position requires travel to client sites as need and sometimes on short notice. Some weekend travel is expected for customer assistance, as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a B.S. in Engineering or other Science based programs (a graduate degree is a plus). The candidate must also be a hands on, take charge as needed, and capable of independent logical decision making. Mechanical and computer skills are a must.

This is a full-time position and is eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
