IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for Part-Time Laboratory Technician positions at its facility in Greeley, CO.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
– A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)
– Strong attention to detail
– Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Laboratory Technician duties include: media/sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $14.00 – $16.00 hourly. This is a part-time position eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours annually) and 401(k). Employee may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period.
The following schedules are available:
Sun-Thurs 12pm- 6pm
The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
