IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Technician – Sample Receiving position at its facility in Greeley, CO

Applicants with at least an AS or AA in biological sciences or related field preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Technician – Sample Receiving job duties include: sample receiving and log in, which may include sample preservation and/or filtration; assisting with sample prep/digestion of various conventional chemistry tests; cleaning and calibration of small lab equipment; organizing laboratory records and files; and serving as backup driver for sample pick-up

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:
– Strong attention to detail
– Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with data entry and other computer applications
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Self-motivated
– A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

The pay range for this position is $15.00 – $17.00 hourly. This is a full-time position eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: health, vision, dental, life/AD&D, long-term disability, and short-term disability insurance; paid time off; health and dependent care FSA plans; 401(k); and employee assistance program.

The schedule for the position is Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 7:30pm. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work occasional weekends.

Due to exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment, applicants with moderate-to-severe food allergies are discouraged from applying.
