IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for Laboratory Analyst positions at its facility in Greeley, CO.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
– A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)
– Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong attention to detail
– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $18.50 hourly. This is a full-time position eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: health, vision, dental insurance; life/AD&D insurance; long- and short-term disability insurance, paid time off, health and dependent care FSA plans; 401(k); and employee assistance program. The schedule for the first position is Sunday to Thursday, from 10:00am to 6:30pm. The schedule for the second position is Tuesday to Saturday, from 12:00pm to 8:30pm. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
