IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Analyst – Evening Shift position at its facility in Omaha, NE.

Applicants must possess a Associate’s degree in the biological sciences or a related field.

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Self-motivated
-Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

The Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and media preparation. This is a full-time position in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period.

This is a full-time position, in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends. The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday from 1:30PM to 10:00PM

Due to exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment, applicants with moderate to severe food allergies are discouraged from applying.
