This position will be eligible for the following benefits: paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually) and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met). Part-time employees may be eligible for medical insurance after 6 months if working more than 30 hours/week on average during an initial 5-month measurement period. </p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Analyst position at its facility in Lexington, KY.</p>
<p>Ideal candidates will possess the following:</p>
<p>&#8211;          A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)<br />
&#8211;          Strong attention to detail<br />
&#8211;          Proficiency with data entry and computer applications<br />
&#8211;          Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment<br />
&#8211;          Strong written and verbal communication skills<br />
&#8211;          Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory</p>
<p>Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.</p>
<p>This is a full-time position and will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The schedule for this position is Sunday through Wednesday, from 5:00am &#8211; 3:00pm, with a rotating Thursday shift every 4th week.</p>
<p>Due to exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment, applicants with moderate-to-severe food allergies are discouraged from applying.</p>
