IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Digital Marketing Specialist Intern position at its facility in Seattle, WA, to support the Marketing Department in developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns to promote our brand, products, and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand our target audience, create compelling messaging, and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, Business Administration, journalism, or another relevant field (Digital marketing experience with a B2B focus)
● Working knowledge of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
● Excellent writing and communication skills
● Ability to take initiative and work independently
● Interest in science, food microbiology, and food safety is helpful
Digital Marketing Specialist Intern duties include:
● Coordinating, writing, submitting, and posting social media content on LinkedIn to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion
● Developing and managing email campaigns for IEH and its subsidiaries, including planning and managing the email content calendar, copywriting, filing requests for creative assets, and managing the review/approval process before deployment
● Assisting with planning and preparation for webinars and tradeshows
● Collaborating with stakeholders and designers to improve and update site structure, page construction, and SEO
● Other duties as assigned
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00 hourly. Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
