										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Analyst &#8211; 12hr Rotational Shift position at its facility in Paulsboro, NJ.</p>
<p>Ideal candidates will possess the following:</p>
<p>•     A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)<br />
•     Proficiency with data entry and computer applications<br />
•     Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment<br />
•     Strong written and verbal communication skills<br />
•     Strong attention to detail<br />
•     Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory</p>
<p>Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.</p>
<p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 &#8211; $22.00 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&#038;D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).</p>
<p>The schedule for this position is 7:00am to 7:00pm, on a rotating workweek basis: the first week is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday through Sunday; the second week is Wednesday and Thursday.</p>

<p>&#8211;    A BS in mechanical or electrical engineering (required)<br />
&#8211;    Experience in industrial packaging equipment, automation systems, and manufacturing support environments (at least 5 years, required)<br />
&#8211;    Must have hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment (required)<br />
&#8211;    Strong visual inspection skills (required)</p>
<p>&#8211;    Technical skills include PLC troubleshooting, Siemens systems, VFD programming, electrical testing, diagram reading/writing, and industrial automation support (required)<br />
&#8211;    Leadership experience, from managing technicians, coordinating projects, supporting equipment installations, and helping improve customer efficiency and equipment reliability<br />
&#8211;    Ability to correctly perform basic-to-moderately complex mathematical calculations<br />
&#8211;    Ability to read and properly use precise measuring equipment<br />
&#8211;    Ability to read, understand and follow safety guidelines<br />
&#8211;    Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented manufacturing environment<br />
&#8211;    Ability to work independently, with minimum of supervision<br />
&#8211;    Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)<br />
&#8211;    Knowledge of hand tools and mechanical assemblies<br />
&#8211;    Ability to Stand, walk, and engage in other moderately rigorous physical activity (including stooping, reaching, handling tools, and ascending/descending stairs or ladders) for extended periods<br />
&#8211;    Ability to occasionally lift up to 30lbs above waist level<br />
&#8211;    Exposure to moderate high noise levels (PPE provided)<br />
&#8211;    Ability to work in tight, awkward, and confined spaces as needed.</p>
<p>Mechanic duties include, but are not limited to:</p>
<p>&#8211;    Commissioning, installing, programming, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining machines and instruments, including filling machines, rotary capping machines, unscramblers, checkweighers, taping machines, autoclaves, custom machinery, etc.<br />
&#8211;    Adjusting machinery, within procedural limits, to optimize performance on a regular basis<br />
&#8211;    Monitoring speeds and feeds for most efficient and safe operation<br />
&#8211;    Installing fixtures and using set-up sheets<br />
&#8211;    Maintaining logs, documentation, manuals, and calibrations<br />
&#8211;    Maintaining work area and equipment in an organized manner<br />
&#8211;    Performing preventive maintenance and following company safety protocols<br />
&#8211;    Collaborating with team members to resolve machining or setup challenges and problems<br />
&#8211;    Performing secondary operations on manual machines<br />
&#8211;    Helping to identify potential problems</p>
<p>The pay range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 hourly.
