										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Chemistry Analyst &#8211; Rotating Shift position at its facility in Fresno, CA.</p>
<p>Ideal candidates will possess the following:</p>
<p>&#8211;          A BS or BA in the Chemistry or related field (required)<br />
&#8211;          Proficiency with data entry and computer applications<br />
&#8211;          Experience with analytical chemistry instrumentation (e.g, HPLC)<br />
&#8211;          Strong attention to detail<br />
&#8211;          Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment<br />
&#8211;          Strong written and verbal communication skills<br />
&#8211;          Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory </p>
<p>Chemist duties include analysis of food samples for proximates and/or chemical contaminants, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and other duties as assigned.</p>
<p>The pay rate for this position is $22.00 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&#038;D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).</p>
<p>The schedule for this position is on a rotating shift basis: the first shift is Monday-Friday, from 2:00pm &#8211; 10:30pm; the second shift is Tuesday-Saturday, from 8:00am &#8211; 4:30pm.</p>
<p>Due to exposure to various food allergens in the laboratory environment, applicants with moderate-to-severe food allergies are discouraged from applying.</p>
