Warren Mirtsching
COO, Meat Division

Warren Mirtsching brings to IEH more than 30 years of experience in food safety, quality, operations, sales, supply chain management, regulatory compliance and research and development activities in beef, pork and processed meat industries. Prior to joining IEH, Mr. Mirtsching was with JBS Swift & Company, and its predecessor companies, for the past eleven years. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance he was in charge of food safety, quality, regulatory compliance and meat grading. Previously, he was with Cargill for nineteen years where he held single, multi-site and corporate management positions working out of both domestic and international bases with responsibilities for operations and supply chain management.

At IEH he serves as Chief Operations Officer of the Meat Division and work with the rest of the team to help them work closely with the industry to guide them in producing the safest food possible. He also has been identified as a progressive and creative executive who has the perseverance to handle concerns related to Operations, Food Safety, and Quality issues. Mr. Mirtsching uses a practical, logical, yet methodical approach to Process Management techniques which involve all levels of an organization. Using science and implementation skills, he assists clients in developing economical results which improve the top and bottom line revenue stream.
