About IEH-JL Analytical
IEH-JL Analytical Services, Inc. is wholly owned commercial analytical testing laboratory as a
subsidiary of the Institute for Environmental Health.
Founded in 1972, the laboratory provides service to agriculture, industry municipalities and consumers. Testing activity is concentrated in five areas: livestock feed and forages, human food products, milk and dairy products, water, and the environment. From an operational perspective, it is four labs in one - classical wet chemistry, microbiology, chromatography and near infrared reflectance spectroscopy.
Laboratory Services
IEH-JL features alfalfa hay testing using the state-of-the-art high speed technology known as
Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy.
IEH-JL can also test for Aflatoxin, the toxic and carcinogenic compound produced by Aspergillus mold species. Our scientists provide all clients with proven results and high quality services of these analyses:
Fats & oils, basic fatty acid profile, extensive fatty acid profile, metals, heavy metals, residue chemistry, pesticides. From molecular epidemiology to total plate counts, our scientists will be ready to assess your food
safety and quality systems.
